Human in Space explores new communication technology as large groups of human begin to settle outside of earth. Robotic Proxy is introduced to simulate realtime conversation for those who are separated at great distance, where massive time delay is experienced with traditional methods of communication.
The alternative method of communication aims to solve the problem of emotion disconnect, by completely eliminating time delay. The proxy, stationed at the location where the person from the other side of the conversation resides, is not being controlled by it’s user, but rather represents a version of the user based on a massive, constantly updating database of the user. Watch the “How it works” video (last one) for a full breakdown of the system.
